AC kit for LS swap

Do any of you know of an Airconditioning kit for the 67-72 trucks with an LS swap, most kit's I've seen are for small block chevy, and I have seen the the bracket to mount an AC compressor but I haven't found any kits that are all in 1 for an LS swap. I have the truck accessory drive. Also has anyone used the LMC AC kit that has the provision for shaved firewall?

Gm has available the entire accessory belt drive for the Cadillac CTS-V which includes A/C compressor, short water pump, alternator, power steering pump and all of the brackets and idlers to make it work. Look it up at GMPP, get the part numbers of just the pieces you need and order them. Or, buy the entire kit and e-bay the stuff you have left over. Simple, and it will fit your truck! Chevrolet Performance CTS-V Accessory Drive Systems with A/C direct from Summit racing $815.96 (without water pump) which you will need.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Classic auto air and Vintage have that option. I have both of their catalogs and the parts are listed. Just give either a call and they should have no issues substituting the ls brackets for the sbc brackets

Re: AC kit for LS swap

I bought the entire "accessory drive kit" from GM when I put my LS-2 crate motor in my Chevelle. The ac is way down into the frame, so I finally bit the bullet and ordered a kit from KWIK to relocated the compressor up high on the passenger side. Had to tweak it a little but overall a good kit. Comes with compressor, belt, all hardware.

Re: AC kit for LS swap

Holley and Kwik are your best options IMO. They both have options for spacing from Vette, f-body/gto and truck. (Just order correct spacers for your application) they mount the compressors up high and you don't need to worrie about weather or not you have the proper bolt holes in the block, as with some of the low mount stuff. You really want to make sure you are running a sanden compressor if you are using vintage air as their systems are designed to use them. Not the NEW factory GM type compressors. You can get away with running a "pancake" compressor.
