So what do you think?

I've been helping a good friend build his '50 Olds Rocket 88. For this he gave me the original hood ornament. I'm thinking of putting it on my COE. Of course it will need a bit of custom work, but the fun in it.

PS. I need your vote for TOTM contest, Thanks

Re: So what do you think?

I'd put it on the John Deere. Seriously, I feel it detracts from the classy chrome hood hinges.

Looks good. Thinking it needs to be 50% bigger to be at home on COE. Will the hood open with it installed?

Re: So what do you think?

Yep on the John Deere if not on the wall in the garage for the mouth breathers to ooh and aaah over but don't junk up that truck with it.

I can remember in my youth when guys who hung stuff like that on their trucks or cars that it didn't belong on were usually referred to by now extremely politically incorrect names. It was kind of the forerunners of the guys who go to Autozone and buy the chrome portholes and flame decals and stick them on their cars
