lug nut and Boss wheel problems
Hey, so I just bought my boss 338 wheels and had some tires mounted today. Now that I'm home the problem came up that I cannot fit a socket over the lug nuts. Basically the hole in the wheel is to small for the socket it fit in.
Did you guys that that problem? How did you solve it? Any suggestions? Thanks Carter |

Go to parts store and get s thin wall socket made for aftermarket wheels. Pep Boys Autozone Advanced someplace like that. Or order online. They make specific thin wall sockets for custom/ after market wheels.

Keep that socket in the truck. And make sure you have a breaker bar or some sort of wrench that it fits on.

I like to use the spline drive lug nuts. The socket fits easily and it gives a little extra security.
