Dang... that's about as nice as I can recall seeing. Doesn't happen to belong to a board member, does it?

Re: Cl...not mine..holy grail

Compare the asking price to a new well-equipped truck and it seems fairly reasonable..... especially when you consider a new one will lose, what, half its value within three years? And won't have anywhere near the cool factor. That '71 will garner compliments & admiration everywhere it goes.

95% of the time... that's almost always the case with ebay/c-list trucks, but this one not only has the quality, put the prominence to back it up. His asking price is actually fair. If this was a former straight six, cut down longbed (even with the same build quality) he would be about 10K too high, but given the quality and SPID...

Nice freakin' truck!

Re: Cl...not mine..holy grail

I must have spelled it wrong and spell check chose that word for me instead, that or I had the truck confused with the Hank Jr. Truck thread, where prominence would be the right word!

Re: Cl...not mine..holy grail

Super nice truck and compared to some 15/18,000 dollar asking price trucks i've seen this one is priced properly and who knows 25,000 might buy it. Write the check, fill her up with gas and enjoy !!!

That really is a crazy nice truck and while 28K seems like a lot I've seen plenty of trucks that are not near that nice that people want similar amounts for.

Why because it would be half the price if it was a long bed?
