Yep, that is a big block and you will need to find some big bolts to install it into your '68.

Yeah I think generally speaking anything over 1,000,000 cubic inches is considered a big block. Also don't those guys look like they are taking part in some kind of evil plot?

Hey if you call Chevy Duty, they sell big block motor mounts for your 68, p/n 79-023 , plus they sell the big block brackets that go to frame, their number is 1-816-741-8029, we've practically rebuilt our 68 with them and they have great tech help. hope that helps you some

I dont think chevyduty sells the mounts for that engine.
If you decide to use that engine you might have to live whithout certain luxuries like fenders, steering wheel, a place to sit.......

Get me the measurements on the motor with any set back required (we have frame measurements) and i'll fab some out of 12" thick plate steel shipped to your door for between $350-400,000 depending on shipping cost, oversize permits, crane rental etc. No guaranty of fit from your measurements. 14,16 and 18" plate is optional for race application, polished aluminum add $110,000. Light weight Titanium add $200.000. We require a $250,000 cash deposit. We reserve the right to engrave our entire online catalog in each motor mount in 1 ft letters with inserts made of carbon fiber in a contrasting color. On reciept of your deposit we estimate completion 12-01-2010. Add $90,000 for rush job. We also require the truck and motor to be present for proper fit and alignment guaranty or an extended lease on a NEW FULLY FEMALE STAFFED LEAR JET for comuting to and from for exact measurements. Deduct $10,000 if truck is located on a south pacific island. Down time for hurricanes etc. will be billed accordingly. Add $50,000 if located in the snowbelt. Reply within 10 days with deposit at this quote. Quote is null and void after 10 days.

Mothertruckers, can I have your mail address so I can send you a check? Also, will I have to notch the firewall or put in a body lift?

DWAYNES56768 CASH ONLY! Have your bank call my bank in Zurick Switzerland.

ACKATTACK Flex plate $135,000 extra. Conversion kit for G.E. locomotive veritable ratio trans. $234,000.99.

GMC67SWB Pictured is the manual flywheel, we have been on the phone with RICHMOND, LENCO and a few other companies about this and they say they will call back with pricing on the correct trans. They were very addament about not calling and bothering them until they call me back. They have stopped production on all other transmissions and have the whole plant working on this project 24/7. I called 1 more time and got their answering machine saying they were to busy to come to the phone so I guess its a waiting game.

Also a turbo company called today, any interest in a turbocharged version?
