Heater Box?
is this huge box in my 57 the deluxe heater? is it worth anything?

looks like a box for your battery ---heater for your 57 is in the cab --under the glove box

the battery box is on the drivers side... I will pull it apart tomorrow and post what I find

Someone had been doing a bit of home engineering on that one.
I'd say that was a homemade heater box that probably was built to use what they had on hand out in one of the donor rigs in the back lot. They then moved the battery to the drivers side so they had room for it.
