A/C Evaporator Question
I just ordered a New OEM Evaporator for my Truck, because the original one is leaking. But there are large holes around the in/out lines. Someone said the need to be filled with something to help keep the cold air inside.
I posted a photo of what I'll talking about. I don't have a photo of what it looked like new. Does anyone know what they were or looked like? |

Re: A/C Evaporator Question
I've used both black adhesive silicone and 3m strip caulk. Both work great

Re: A/C Evaporator Question
Has anyone ever changed the Evaporator on a 79-86 C10? I was wondering how much trouble I'm In for. Or any Tricks that can help me.
Thanks |
