Are 1970 fenders and hoods the same - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am parting out my first gmc pickup and I can see a lot of the suspension things are the same as Chevy. My question is what will and won't work on Chevy vs the gmc models.

The hood and front fenders are pretty good and the doors will be of value. I know the grill, radiator support, and front bumper is completely different.

I just don't want to sell anything to a Chevy owner knowing it won't fit!

Any advice or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

The only difference in the hoods are the emblem holes. The doors are direct fit. Jim

The 68-72 GMC fenders are the same as a 1968 CHEVROLET (only) fenders.
The 69-72 chevy fenders are different.
Look at the leading edge of the fender under the GMC eyebrow chrome.

Is the only difference from a 67 Chevy fender the missing side marker lights vs the gmc fenders? You didn't mention 67 fenders so I assumed it was due to the marker lights?
