Keyed 12v source.
Not the greatest at wiring, need help.
running an MSD box and Atomic EFI, I need to have a 12v source for both that supplies 12v in "on" and "start". where would i start to find this? |

Re: Keyed 12v source.
Off the fuse panel under the dash. Just check which ones are keyed on with a multimeter or DVOM.
Pretty simple |

Re: Keyed 12v source.
Back of the switch. Purple will be your starter and pink should be you key on. Easiest way to double check it a cheap test light. There are also key on spots in the fuse box. You can also pick up a low voltage starter wire from your starter. I would not do this because you could cause your starter to burn up due to a lack of power since you are picking it up so close to the starter.

Re: Keyed 12v source.
Every open spot in the fuse box it shuts off the EFI when cranking the engine over. So i think they only supply in the "on" position.

Re: Keyed 12v source.
Very possible. Try the back of the switch. I think the key on gives you power the whole time.

Re: Keyed 12v source.
I will check the pink wire, hope it has power on both start and on. If no I will have to run a wire off the battery to a toggle switch.
