clutch linkage under the dash

I am new here but over the last few months I have learned alot......thank you. Hopefully I will return some knowledge.
I am doing a frame up restoration on a 65 gmc short bed stepside 3 speed on the column. I bought the truck 3 years ago and everything was completely dismantled when purchased. I had 12 boxes of parts...some labeled, most not. The frame, engine (250) 33, 000 miles and the body is now in the put back together stage. I will upload some pictures in the next few days.
I am trying to locate connection parts from the top of the clutch pedal to the upper linkage rod and the attaching part at the bottom of the upper linkage rod to the Z bar. I purchased the upper linkage rod today from Dans classic parts which I found that link here this morning that search was a treat ........I purchased the upper linkage rod and the firewall boot, my knowledge said that was all he sold that would work for me so far
Any help would be appreciated

Have you checked with LMC. I think they show some of those parts in their catalog.

It sounds as though you have the rod that connects the arm on the end of the clutch pedal shaft to the arm on the bellcrank. You will also need the rod that connects the other arm on the bellcrank to the clutch fork. On that rod will be the threaded swivel and the wedge shaped piece with the hole in the center. Then of course there will be various clips and nuts. Thes eparts can be found at LMC as well as other suppliers.

I appreciate the input. I have all linkage below firewall hooked up. I just ordered the upper linkage rod from Dan's classic parts. There is a part that connects the bracket hanging off the top of the clutch pedal that needs to join the upper part of the upper linkage rod .......... I did look in the LMC catalog as well as searched the innerweb for days. Unless I am missing part of my brain I think the assembly is called a sleeve assembly?.........I cant find an accurate diagram that shows the specific part. I also need the retaining clip to hold the rod to the ZBAR I think that's what its called????

its called a clutch lever pedal bracket, its on the inside of cab attached to the cross shaft that holds the 2 pedals to the underside of the dash and it engage and disengage the clutch rod thats outside the cab...

Nice Pimpston65!! Now im no where near the truck right now but if that part connects directly to the upper linkage rod then thats the part I need

Thanx jimmy....excellent reference picture. I expect the rod and boot to arrive on tuesday so these pictures show that bracket the way i need to mount it. Thank you sir!!

So thanx for the help with the pictures. Turns out the bracket to mount the upper clutch rod is where its supposed to be after all. I just ordered the linkage connectors and the rod will be in any day. These trucks sure do get expensive. I just ordered a radiator, exhaust pipe, sun visors, sill plates, gmc parking light lenses, arm rests, and inner fender rubber.......oh and a battery. Those items cost $580. Guess I shouldn't complain ive read here where people pay that much for a radiator alone.
I tried to save some $ by painting the truck myself with metalic base coat clear coat. I used paint from a company called paintforcars.com. Unfortunately his color matching was not the greatest. I painted the truck two tone black and green. Half the job went great till I ran out of paint, I ordered more and sprayed the other half before I picked up that there was a shading difference. If you have ever painted metalic its very easy to be a shade off and not pick up on it in a home garage type setting. Paint for cars made up for the mistake somewhat by sending me 4 gallons of green and a couple gal of the clear. Only problem was the sweat equity in resanding the whole truck piece by piece and applying 6 consecutive coats of base-clear. Between primer and topcoats I have 7 gal of paint on this truck. Luckily I have refinishing skills or I would have thrown in the towel a couple months ago. Enough rambling. I just can't wait to complete the reconstuction of a truck ive never seen in one piece as a truck.
