The 2nd reincarnation

After a broke piston sidelined the old 355 , it was time to to make the upgrade to a new 383 so here we go again

For a second I thought I found my 1st truck. good to see your rebuilding and not going ls. This is the first engine I built. You can see the resemblance.

The 73-80 7" round headlamps and the late 80's quad side by side 4x6 lamps look great on these trucks.

You have holes for protected mounting of some amber LED fog lamps now.

I was an Oldsmobile man before I was a Cadillac man and I LOVE a GOLD engine. Yours may be more orange but it still looks BADASS. Did you buy that nice shortblock somewhere or did that come from your local machine shop?

I didn't even know summit sold heads with their name on them and I look at heads all the time.

I painted it VHT burnt copper .
The short block is from Blueprint engines , I had a 406 that i built but I sold it
Couldnt tell you on the heads I know a buddy has the non vortec heads and they to have the logo stamped on them
