Classic gauge and cluster going out of business

Hello all,

After doing some homework, Heather and I have made a decision to close shop and shut down the business. I was a very hard decision to make but we both feel it to be in our best interest moving forward.

I would like to say thank you to all of our past customers. We really appreciate all of the business and hope all of you were happy with your clusters. I would also like to mention the relationships and friends I have made along the way. To those people, I want to say thank you for your help. We could not have done it with out you. I will still be active on the forum but not doing cluster restorations any longer.

With that said, we are going to have some inventory for sale. I will try and make a list with pricing for anyone who may be interested. It will be 1960 - 1972 cluster parts.

Please give me some time to create a list of available items with pricing.

Hope all of you are having a good weekend,
Take care,
Tom

Sorry to hear that, you gonna try to sell out to a person so they can carry on with the restorations?

I am going to post some inventory for sale if someone is interest in a package I would entertain the idea.

I will also have some specialty tools for sale as well.

Take care,
Tom

Not selling Tom, just closing down. Unless you know someone who wants to come here and take it over.

I am sorry if I missed your call. I did not get a missed call or voice mail on my phone from you. What can I help you with? Try calling me again if you need to or I can give you a ring.

I still have a tach tin I held onto for you also when ever you need it.

Take care,
Tom

Thank you for the kind words. Here is one I have available with a volt gauge conversion. I can replace it with the stock amp gauge and circuit board for the same price at $400.00 shipped if interested. The details are in the link.

Let me know and thank you,
Tom

Looks Great! What is the advantage of the newer volt gauge?

A lot of the guys are using the newer American Auto Wire harnesses that are made for internal regulated alternators or single wire alternators. In that case the amp gauge will not work correctly.

A lot of people would prefer to know what the voltage is in the system rather than what the amp draw is. It is simply a matter of personal choice.

Hope this helps,
Take care,
Tom

Glad to hear you'll still be on the board sharing your knowledge, but sorry to hear about your getting out of the business.

I'll no doubt be interested in some of those speciality tools!

Re: Classic gauge and cluster going out of business

Tom,

Bummer to hear this. I just got my cluster in a couple weeks ago. Out with the six and in with the 402! The cluster works great, but I have a question: why does my ammeter read backwards? I had the same problem with my old cluster. The needle is on the discharge side when the truck is running, but I have 14+ volts at the alternator and the battery.

Thanks,
Mark
