Re: Need 6 lug Wheels!!!!!
I think 58's either came wirh a 15X5 or 15X6 and could also be ordered with a 16X6.
I'd really like a set of 15/s.......... |

Re: Need 6 lug Wheels!!!!!
I've seen on other sites of guys using wheels from here
http://www.dexstarwheel.com/products.pdf They're trailer wheels, but more than up to the task You can get hubcap clips from a vendor and install them on your wheel http://www.laroke.com/larryk4674/smo...er/hubcaps.htm http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=HCRC066 |

$50 a piece.
I don't think you could sandblast and paint an old rim for that. Looks like they have a 3" backspace. Should clear your tie rod ends just fine. http://www.etrailer.com/Tires-and-Wh...r/AM20514.html |

Re: Need 6 lug Wheels!!!!!
Looking for something as close as I can get to OEM, if I can't get OEM.
GM musta made 6 billion of these things, but none seem to be popping up. I don't think a 3" backspace is gonna work - what was OE? 4" I suspect, but not certain...... |

Re: Need 6 lug Wheels!!!!!
3" backspace would be just fine.
The OE wheels were somewhere between 3.5 and 3.75. Anymore than that and you get dangerously close to interfering with your tie rod ends. |

Re: Need 6 lug Wheels!!!!!
JAY - I ordered the "Trailer Rims" last nite, but who knows if that little experiment is going to work out.
How much do you want for your rims shipped to 53821? I don't need the tires. Dog - I think the backspace will be OK on the trailer rims - might be close. Website says its just under 3.75" |
