Got my new lift installed!!
I'm sure it wasn't the kind of lift you were thinking, but I had to share a picture. In the middle of building the new garage, sidings not done, no heat, insulation, sheetrock, or power, but the lift is in. I'm pretty excited!!

That's exactly the lift I was thinking! Looks great. I hope to have a lift someday soon too

Re: Got my new lift installed!!
Are you kicking yourself for not building the shop 4 ft higher? That's going to be interesting in use but probably better than laying on your back like I do.

Re: Got my new lift installed!!
Why? His lift doesn't go 4 foot higher.

Re: Got my new lift installed!!
I have enough room for a bigger lift, but with this one I can unbolt it from the floor, and roll it in the corner when I need it out of the way. It will lift a little over 4' high with the extensions under the lift pads, and that ends up being the perfect height to roll around on a creeper seat. I also have the option to put the motorcycle adapter on one of the columns, and lift the bikes to a nice working height.

Re: Got my new lift installed!!
Thanks man. We installed this lift at a buddies house about a year and a half ago, I used it for rebuilding all the suspension, and drive train on my old 71 c20, and also suspension and drive train on my 80 k10. He sold his house, and bought a 4 post lift for his new shop, so I got a good deal on this lift, and I'm the only one who used it. It is perfect for a home shop imho.

Re: Got my new lift installed!!
I can see that. I try to do all my mechanic work from a creeper seat as much as possible.
