Big block vs small block engine stand
I am putting an ls1 into a 71 gmc blazer. Originally a 6cyl 3ott.
My customer provided mounts. Cpp sliders, Cpp BIG BLOCK sheet metal stands, and a cpp tube trans cross member. My question is whats the difference in bic block vs small block stands? which one sits lower or taller? |

The big block stands have more exhaust clearance.

Yes, the BB stands do set the engine a little taller in front. If you can get the drive line angles right, I would not worry about it? longhorn

Looks like I will need a pretty big spacer at the trans mount to line it up. Do you know how much taller the big block stands are?
