K20 body mounts

Some of the mounts are starting to crumble and was wondering what you guys are using these days.

Anyone selling a rubber set that lasts?

Will the urethane sets cause any damage to the body since they do not flex? How close do they look to original (still use square pieces)?

Thanks

Re: K20 body mounts

There is a company out there making replacements, I just don't know the name of them but a quick search should find them.

When I did mine back in the 1990's, I used 2 Blazer sets of urethane.
Since then, they still look the same as the day I put them in.

Re: K20 body mounts

I used a set in my k5 back in the day and they worked great but I think they were all round pucks. How do you like them in the burb? Since the K20 frame flexes a bit more than the K5 does your rear wood floor creak more then the stock rubber stuff?

Re: K20 body mounts

The ones I have are round as well.
I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary in regards to the body mounts, but then I did a body off restoration so everything was cleaned and checked.

The complaints of squeaks I've heard of in the past, were on the suspension parts and not from body mounts.
