fuel tak selectors

im working on an 84 truck with dual tanks. I think the valve is bad. are the aftermarket valve ok or junk? thanks

I got one from advanced and it was ok I don't thi8nk they make anything other than aftermarket anymore

Most aftermarket valves are generally made by Pollack... They made the OEM 1982-1991 selector valves.
Are you sure the valve is bad. Usually the dash switch is the piece that fails.

not sure yet. im getting the truck this weekend to work on it. it belongs to a friend of mine. I was asked to make it run and drive again and just check it all over to be put back on the road. he told me when he parked it that it would only feed from one side aand would like both to work again. thanks for the help guys.

Got my dash switch from NAPA , it was good quality and easier to read.

you can get real good quality ones at a boat supply store you can get either manual or electric ones
