69 utility body c-30 old fire rescue truck?

Anybody know anything more about this baby with its super cool utility body?...playing now with split rims and 7.00-18 bias tube tires!, wish I could find some ..tall tubless rims and tires..

check the gear ratio and what rear it is if its an eaton I have a 4.10 pumpkin that would help that bad boy out.

Yeah I bought a rear end out of a newer square body to put in my one ton it has something like 538 gears in it I'm changing it over to a overdrive [maybe] and like a 4:10 rear gear. That is a way cool truck body.

I would say you can find a tubeless set ups for your truck ,a friend of mine was looking for tubeless rims for a old Chevy Top Kick he has and found them at a truck tire Shop in Scranton Pa

I know it was not a cheep conversion if I remember it was like $2,400 but that was rims plus tires mounted on all 4 corners.

Thanks , I already have the wheels covered, 19.5 inch rims was the equivalent to the old split rims, and 225/70 tires , I lost only one inch in height over the original rims and tires but they look good. It took time to find these rims 5 lug in the front and 8 lug back. What's up with that? And even different center hole sizes

I wish I knew who made the body. It is pretty much all riveted together look close in the pictures of the square plate. Like the Titanic. Lol

Awesome truck, My 1942 dump had the ho110, 6:17 gearing, 5/10 lugs. Cool pistol grip, where'd ya get it from?, Can't find anything like that.
