1969 - 70 cab cuts and parts from part out

I am dis-assembling a 1969-70 LWB Fleetside currently. The cab is an A/C cab with quite a bit of the original A/C only components. I am going to cut up the cab as the outer floor and sills are shot - cab corners too. However, the area under the seat and at the 'hump' is good and solid.
The frame and rear axle will be for sale too, as well as parts of the fleetside bed - which had a wood floor from factory. All cross sills are good and the inner fender wells seem to be good, but haven't unbolted them just yet to verify.

Parts either not present or that I am using myself are: engine, trans., seat, dash, w/s wiper set-up, w/s squirters, steering column.

Parts too bad to use except for patch panels or small parts: doors, front fenders, rear fleetside bed outsides.

I don't have pictures yet, but hope to get some taken later today and posted tonight.

I have added photos of these parts so you can now see the condition of them. I think the rear cross sill is good, but didn't inspect that carefully when shooting photos - I will look it over much closer tomorrow and get back on that part.
As for pricing, how about $15 each for cross sills and $40 for rear if it is good plus shipping cost to you. Might do better on price if you buy all of them together rather than just a couple of pieces. Let me know what you think . . . Jay

Re: 1969 - 70 cab cuts and parts from part out

Other prices so far:

A/C components SOLD!

LWB Frame with rear axle set up, but minus the lower a-arms on front (they are spoken for) Trailing arms? are in good condition and there are overload springs on it too! $325.00

Cab cuts depending on what / how much you need - ask for price

Inner fenders on Fleetside bed for wood floor $45 SOLD!each and shipping

Any cuts from Fleetside bed sides - ask for price

Re: 1969 - 70 cab cuts and parts from part out

I did a much closer inspection of the cross sills and they look really good - no rust through only minor surface rust. Most of them still have some of the original black paint on them. There are 5 of the same size cross sills, 1 cross sill that is a shorter profile to fit in right over the highest part of the hump in frame, 1 rear-most main cross sill at back of bed.
If you want to purchase everything at once with shipping (UPS $44.00 or FedEx $48.00) I would do $150 total with which ever shipping option you choose included in that figure. Jay

Gregg - OK, you are next in line if the first person passes. Anything else you need? I have several parts that I haven't listed. Jay

Re: 1969 - 70 cab cuts and parts from part out

I need the area around where the switch screws in on the cab in the door jam. My 67 does not have the raised area where these mount and I want to add them in my 67 cab. Please be a little generous with the cut. What would you charge for these ( both pass and driver) shipped to S0K2T0 in Canada? Rod.

Rod - I haven't shipped anything to Canada before so you could probably tell me more about it and help me do it correctly / cheapest. As for the cuts - I am going to take a couple of pictures of the areas that I think you are asking about. My cab doesn't have holes for door jam switches, but it does have a raised area with a 'dimple' as a center point to drill holes. Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing. Jay

That sounds right. No holes is even better. USPS is the best and easiest I believe. I would think you could just box them up and go to your USPS office and they would help you. They also should have standard size boxes at a fixed shipping rate for small stuff like these.

OK, thanks for the tips - I will look into the USPS and see what they say. Jay

Rod - I checked USPS.com for rates and the most reasonable was an envelope or small box, Priority International for $22. I would charge $15 for the cuts, making a total of $37.00. Let me know what you want to do. Jay

ill take them. Please be a little generous with the cut so I have some metal to work with. please post pic's of the cuts and Pm me paypal address. Also if you would sell just the spring that opens/closes the fresh air door in the cowl area separate I would be interested in it as well. Rod.

I noticed the A/C dash was cut off. Do you still have it and is it for sale if you do?
