Shock extensions ?

I have been told yes and no, but I want to hear from guys that KNOW!!! When slamming my 86 square 5/7-8 with belltech (3in spindles, 1in coils with 1 round cut off, 6in flip kit with c-notch and 1-2in shackles in rear and nitro drop shocks all around), will I need shock extensions? Or are shock extensions just for guys that drop em and use stock shocks? Thank

Re: Shock extensions ?

I'd say yes, you need them. They are more to keep the shock angle in check than length. The further from vertical the shock gets the less control it has. The shock will be at waaaayyy too flat of an angle with what you have planned.
