I just purchased a 5.3 and would like to start it
What sensors are required to just start the engine
I do have the TAC and peddle and a new computer that has had the VSS removed and tuned
Do I need to add ALL the sensors to start minus the Evap?

Cam, crank, water temp.???

What should a good/fair engine have for compression?

Hookup the MAF and the front 02's also (even if they just are in an open header pipe), knock sensors, cam and crank sensors all need to be in for an easy start. Coolant Temp and Oil pressure aren't 100% needed to run, but you really should have them hooked up so they can be monitored on that first start/run.
