Where to buy new radiator?

Hey Guy/Gals!

I have a 1972 c20 with a/c cab. It has a mildly built 355 with th350. I'm in need of a new radiator. The radiator I have now is the original 4 row so, I'd like to stay somewhat original. I'd consider going with aluminum as long as I could still use the original factory brackets.

I've looked at many sites but I'm not sure who to buy from. Any info you could shoot my way would help me tremendously. Its my DD so I need to get it fixed asap.

Thanks!
Kelly

Rockauto has some good ones but there not copper/brass there aluminum or aluminum/plastic. I just bought one from them. Plus price was cheapest i could find and super fast shipping

Re: Where to buy new radiator?

If I were to buy a radiator I would go with tan Engineered Cooling Products radiator. Lifetime warranty, fully tig welded, no epoxy, fit the factory four row mounts, looks good, good price. I have read nothing but good things about them and I think they are a board vendor. They sell on ebay for $219 without shipping.

+1 on Speedcooling. I've been using this for two summers and 7000+miles in the Hot West Texas Sun, and it works great. You can see more in my build thread.

Re: Where to buy new radiator?

Incase anyone was wondering, I found a new copper and brass 4 row here in vegas at a shop called Proformance Radiator. It fit perfect and it's keeping the motor cooler then ever. I'd say over 25% cooler. I'm extremely happy!

I thought hard about going with an all aluminum but I figure the original radiator lasted 40 years.
I was also worried about an aftermarket aluminum radiator not fitting.a

Thanks everyone for the replies!

It was $340 out the door. It was a little less then ones I found online. It was more then I wanted to spend but I didn't want to end up doing it again 5 years down the road. The truck is my DD.

Re: Where to buy new radiator?

I search and bought my 3 row aluminium on Amazon. Fits perfect even with stock brackets. I hooked up 2 14inch electric fans and it works awesome! never had an issue afterwards.

Re: Where to buy new radiator?

Hey, you have a Performance Radiators right there in Las Vegas.
I think its just West of I-15 and somewhere South of Tropicana.
I remember seeing them driving by one day. you can stop in and look at what they have.
