spartan locker

anybody put one in a dana 44 closed knuckle axle with locking hubs? I have an open rear Ho33 in my 61, thought the spartan would a + in the front. probably only use it in the snow. any thoughts?

Re: spartan locker

same as a powertrax lock rite locker. might search those terms. or any automatic locker for that matter. they all behave basically the same. and as far as the snow, im from south texas.

Re: spartan locker

Id be a leaning toward a selectable locker in the front. Theres been times on ice and snow that I've been thankful that I didn't have a locker in the front. Ive had more experiences in in the same ice, snow and mud which I wished I had a locker in the rear though. My 14BFF is a G80 and I haven't noticed it working yet. Id be happy to run an ARB, E Locker or an Ox Locker in the front but I don't have an extra arm and a leg to give for one!
