Re: Rev rally wheels

I've been watching those wheels too. I do have a few questions. I like the GM disc brake caps so I am curious if they will fit over the rotor and bearing cap on th REV wheels. Also. how thick are the rims near the LCA?

Re: Rev rally wheels

I've been drooling over those wheels on my watch list for months. I have been watching a vendor from TX. Offers free shipping. I am super interested in the clearance over the front rotor hub center as well as the depth, as I mentioned earlier, to put Disc Cap on. Keep me in the loop

Re: Rev rally wheels

I recently purchased a 1970 Chevy C10 and it is a grandpa/mijo project. I have make most of the buys for the truck, but I have not yet found the wheels that I am interested in. I like the Foose and similar wheels but there is a wheel I saw that looks something like the original Shelby wheels from the GT500. Where is the best place to shop with the best prices and variety? Advice or suggestions appreciated

Re: Rev rally wheels

I got a set a couple of months ago for my project truck. The truck is not on the ground yet, so hard to get real stance shots. My pics are crummy, but you may get an idea of what they look like. The rears are 18x9. Fronts are 17x8. They are all polished with police style bowtie caps.

Thanks, The front has 2.5" drop spindles, 1.5" springs, Hotchkis control arms 1", so about 5" total. The rear has EC 5" springs, 1.5" blocks, so about 6.5"total. The frame is notched 1" to increase usable travel. Don't go by my pics due to the frame being supported by the lift. I won,t know how it stands until I get the bed wood, rear mounted fuel tank and battery, tail gate, bumper, etc mounted. No interior or glass is installed yet either.
The shop where I work ordered the wheels. Frank Fahey Motorsports in San Diego. REV shipped the wheels fast.

Re: Rev rally wheels

went to WHEEL DEALER today In SPRING TEXAS. Looked at the rev rally wheels. all he had in stock were 5 lug. after seeing them I ordered a set of 18x 8 6 lug wheels . you can get several different style of caps . should be here in a week so I will post some pictures when I get them they come either full polished or grey with polished lip. I went with grey. I will have some 6 and 5 lug 15'' rallys for sale soon.

Re: Rev rally wheels

Those Rev wheels look incredible on the 67-72 trucks.

Do you guys think those will look good on a 79?

Im trying to decide between the Rev Rallys or some torque thrust wheels, really like the Rev rallys but not sure if they will look good on the 79.

Re: Rev rally wheels

Those Rev Wheels are nice, but if I'm not mistaken, they are pricey. I'm shopping for wheels for my long bed, and they would look terrific on my truck

Re: Rev rally wheels

got my wheels today. 1 week wait because they had to make the 6 lug wheels. now the bad part. the center hole is 4 1/2 inches. the factory rally wheel hole is about 3 1/2 inches.the holes for lugs are fine and wheel will bolt up.the bigger center hole puts the lugs right at the edge of center hole. got home too late to call them. will go back over there with a factory rally and see what they say. I think they will have to make them with a smaller center hole to work. I will update as soon as I go back to WHEEL DEALER.

You should be able to get away with putting an adapter ring in the hole because its oversize by 1" exactly if youre really worried about it. BUT, I do not believe the Chevy wheels are 'hub centric' so it centers on the lug pattern anyway.
