Tool to read/reset airbag light
I have an 05 silverado and the service airbag light message and light are on. Anyone know a reader I can buy that reads airbag lights and resets them.?.?.?

Re: Tool to read/reset airbag light
SRS (airbag) lights are NOT resettable. Every time the truck ignition is turned on, the SRS system goes thru a diagnostic test.
You have a bad sensor and it will need to be scanned to find out which sensor it is. Once that sensor is replaced, the light will reset itself. Call around your local independent shops and ask if they have a GM Tech II scanner. |

Re: Tool to read/reset airbag light
The snap on scanners will also read the data your looking for. But there almost just as expensive.
I have both the Tech 2 as well as a Snap on scanner. |
