Sounds like stock are just a tad over. Maybe an RV type cam which is usually around 204º at .050 intake duration.

ive got the Comp he260 in my 77 and it sounds just about the same as yours

I too have the comp he 260 in my 454 and you can actually tell it has an aftermarket cam in it! I figured the idle would be dead smooth

descriptions in Jegs and other catalogs say smooth idle. thats why i was expecting it to be another cam when i took off the cam gear (used engine)

its a bit lopey in park and pretty nice sounding at 550rpms

They might mean through stock manifolds, mine has headers, I'm sure yours does too, I have a video of mine but it's not on youtube, so I don't know how to post it here

yeah id imagine with a stock or close to stock exhaust it wouldnt be noticable at all
