Battery Relocation

Need to get the battery off the passenger side. Driver side would be OK. So would really any other place other than exposed in the bed or something race only. Where have you moved it?

Re: Battery Relocation

I put mine under the bed on the passenger side and put a cut off switch along the line so I can kill battery power. Just a small safety device. If I were to do it over I would put it on the driver side, only because when I park in the garage the passenger side is against the wall. Makes it hard to get to if it dies. I also took out the indent on the inner fender where the battery box sits.

Nice job on the inner fender.
I put mine on the passenger side frame rail as well.
Greg.

Re: Battery Relocation

I liked this one. In cab and in unused space.

No Limit Engineering. It has no built-in lowering mechanism like others on the market and is a PITA with a battery installed and overpriced for what it is. I'd look elsewhere for a better one.

Re: Battery Relocation

If you go do a Google search...there are several options for battery boxes. Side mount, weld in place, drop down box, bolt on, etc. $35 to about $100 on Speedway and the reviews looked really good for the most part...$24.99 on Summit

Re: Battery Relocation

I moved mine to passenger side rear of the frame. Fabricated a mount to slide the batter box up onto...
