Sorry those parts I don't have.
As far as shipping the nearest Fed-ex is 30 miles away.
That's why I ship the Post Office, it is the most economical for me.
I live in a small rural town in Eastern Oregon, places like that would be a 60 mile round trip, cuts into my profits.

Hello I am interested, Will these work on a 72 with out to much trouble ?
It looks like they mount to the door and my truck would have to be drilled out.
The question about backing plates, are they special or could I just use some steel pieces?

Kenn, these come off a 1972 1-ton chassis mount camper.
I didn't get any backing plates when I bought these.
Thin sheet metal should work just fine, as backing plates.
One other guy was in front of you, but I haven't heard from him in over 3 days now.
If you want them, I accept POSTAL MONEY ORDERS, sorry I don't do pay pal.

Those are very nice. Needed some before but have since sold the truck. If anyone is on the fence because of the convex mirrors, I stumbled onto an easy removal technique. Dental floss. Wrap completely around the convex mirror just under the lip (i.e. between convex mirror and then floss it off. Do so in a plane parallel to the flat mirror - don't try to pull ot push the convex mirror around to get it off, can crack the flat mirror easily. I've had then pop right off with one pull in opposite directions once the floss is wrapped around the convex mirror. Then all you have I do is use a razor and some windex to clean off the gummy remains.

Thanks for the advice. No problems so far about the convex mirrors.
I use 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner instead of a razor.

To clarify - this mirror style doesn't make use of backing plates. They are just screwed in place onto the door. Measure twice cut once for factory fitment though. Good buy IMO.

I agree with Special-K, I thought it was a requirement to list prices right up front and not do it through PM. I also agree that knowing what something actually sells for is a great help in knowing what stuff is actually worth so I can pay or list a realistic price. This is Mike, I sold these over a year ago. The price was posted then, I delete the price and the ad description when I sell any thing, simple logic means that the item is sold and gone. I don.t care for your comments about my ads, and the fact that I delete prices on something that was sold a year ago. I don't comment on your ads, and I except the same courtesy from you in return. Just for your information I think these sold for between $125-150, does this satisfy you?

I understand your logic and thanks for coming back to list the price range. Your sale thread was used for reference on a current WTB, but only good for showing the mirrors and not for price. What I do is go back to my first post and in bold I type SOLD as the first word, then again right next to the price. I also post that they are sold as the the last post, and use bold again. I make it real obvious for all. I'm not one to tell others how to run their life, but this is what I do and you can take it or leave it. Works for me. I used to wipe the price out, too, till it was suggested by staff we leave it up for reference, and that makes sense to me. Have a good one
