AL Needing camper mirror parts ASAP!

My 3/4 Cheyenne project is in the paint shop and supposed to be out next week. I'm really needing a set of the "L" shaped metal arms for the stainless camper mirrors. I've got the mirror heads and the aluminum stands. Thanks.

I have a set of those same style mirrors on my '71 4x4. When the truck was repainted the "L" shaped arms were nasty against the new paint. I bought a pair of solid stainless steel arms from a local truck accessories shop. Solid, not hollow tube, uses external threaded stud instead of the internal thread and acorn nut. $18.00 at the time, made by Delbar Products, Inc. Perkasie, Pa. 18944 zip PN # 620C-11 Maybe worth looking into, hope that helps.

I have the correct hardened-steel arms for the DG4 mirrors but not for the camper mirrors. If you can find a workable pair, they can be re-chromed. Sadly, the DG4 arms are too short to fully rotate the camper mirror head.

JQ-72, I did a Google search of Delbar Products. They are the mfg. of the solid stainless mirror arms I purchased several years ago for my '71 4x4 with the swing out camper mirrors. Apparently in April of 2008 Delbar Products was purchased by Ficosa North America Corp. Seems that Delbar is still in operation at 601 W. Spruce, Perkasie, Pa. 18944 zip. Phone # 215-257-6892 and Fax 215-453-0122. Would be worth a shot to contact them by phone or fax and ask about a dealer nearest to you.

As I mentioned in my previous posting the arms I bought are solid stainless steel, not a hollow tube. They look just as good today as when I mounted them more than 10 years ago. Let me know either by posting here or a PM if you have any luck. If not, next time I am in Wichita, early next week I will stop in at the truck accessories shop I purchased my arms from and see if they have a set available. JQ-72, checked with the truck accessories shop today. News was not what I wanted to hear. They can no longer get the Delbar stainless steel mirror arms. Apparently several people have been asking about them but no longer available. Not what I wanted to hear myself as my BIL is wanting to get a set for his swing out mirrors on his '83 1 ton dually 4x4. Sorry to get your hopes up.

These arms shown are not correct for the camper mirrors. They are the below eyeline arms.

These are what you need for the camper mirrors...longer both ways but still even up and out. I found the DG4 arms, been a while, at NAPA. The guy pulled out a book with pages of drawings and dimensions for various arms. I've wanted to check back to see if they still can get these and if the correct camper ones were also available. These arms are the only chrome on the stainless mirrors (other than hardware) and are always the nasty part on good mirrors

JQ- I'm a little confused. I assume you want the mirror arm that is on your blue and white longhorn. The ones circled in the picture are the same length. I have two sets of the arms as pictured on the longhorn. #1 are show quality chrome, good threads, but mirror side needs to be cleaned like sealer built-up. $100 shipped. #2 are driver quality w/clean threads $75 shipped. Both #1 and #2 have complete mirror sets, but they are the 73 style that used the same arm. #1 complete with mirrors and brackets $150 plus shipping. #2 $125 plus shipping.

Thanks for the reply, W31. I didn't notice in the picture that I circled that it had what looks to be below-eyeline mirror arms. What you have pictured us what I'm needing. However, I don't need any that nice. These are going on a truck that will be somewhat of a work truck.
