'71 c30 hanger/shackle
Could I have you guys take a look at my poor quality pictures and see if you think the standard drop hanger/shackle kits for 67-87 leaf sprung trucks would fit? I recently removed the deck and am not sure what I will be doing for a box but would like to tackle the suspension. I intend on removing the overload leafs and the truck also had lift blocks in.

Re: '71 c30 hanger/shackle
The 2x4 67-72 trucks had 2 1/4" wide leaf springs at least on the 1/2 and 3/4 ton models. What is the width of your spring? If it's 2 1/4" then the ECE shackles will work. If it is 2 1/2" most likely the '73-'87 would work just fine.

When the 88 body style came out the local muffler shop would take those shackles out and cut them in half and weld plates to each side making a drop shackle. Just a thought. Jim
