question....If you had both pieces would that then be able to fully convert a high hump to a low hump (an appear a factory Auto Tranny truck from factory?)

Yes, that pic is actually my truck and I converted from a 4 speed high hump to a low hump for an automatic. Check out my build thread sigshooter's 1965 c10 for more info. You find the bolt in low humps in 1963 model and older, be sure and get both pieces

Those are pretty common down here, now that Mom has passed I will have more time to start hitting the scrap yards again. I will start looking for one for you, let me know if you find one before I do.

Shipping cost killed the deal.

There shouldn't be any reason for shipping to kill the deal. I've shipped a bunch of these both local and long distance. If you ship by standard mail it should be $35 max, maybe less. FedEx and UPS cost a lot more (about twice as much) so make sure you use the post office. The trick is to put one piece inside the other and wrap them as tight as possible. Use a loose sheet of cardboard and roll the parts and then tape it closed. If you use an oversized box with a lot of extra space inside you're going to pay a lot more. FedEx is usually cheaper for big parts, but in some cases when the parts are light and under a certain size the post office is the way to go.

Pretty sure this is what you are after, but I wanted to verify before I take it apart. The front piece, is it spot welded? I see some dimples but no fasteners and there are a few places on the edge that are curled a bit like it's been off before.

Sorry about the delay I use this truck for parts storage also and had to dig my way to the floorboard.

I'm going to have to get it out, see how small I can make the box and go to the P.O. to see what it will cost. I was just doing an online estimate, and I was using 97045, 24x24x8 it was $40. I am guessing on the size also, but that should be close. If I change the height to 6 inches however the price drops to $14.

The hump itself, I'd like $25 for it and my troubles if that is acceptable. I'm not going to obligate you to buy it if you find shipping unacceptable either.

Is that front piece spot welded to the firewall or will it come out when the center section is removed?

If it's in as good of shape as it looks in the pics, I don't want to pay you less than $100 shipped. So if shipping and your troubles come to $125, I'd still be happy.
Most cut the firewall portion out with a jigsaw and stay about 1/2" outside the spot welded portion.
I'll find a pic for an example.

Here is an update: I have the "hump" section out with minor casualties. I rounded off the bottom right bolt, and spent about half a second too long on it with the torch and split the corner. You can see that in the second photo. The area around the accelerator is also pretty thin, wrinkled and has a slight tear in the edge, as shown in the third pic. For shipping reference this piece measures roughly 16X28X5.5". The firewall section looks like it is only attached by two or three spot welds in the same area, so I am going to try to drill them out from the engine compartment side to avoid a lot of unnecessary cutting. I should have that done by Saturday and can run it to the P.O. to see about shipping. If you could P.M. your address I will go ahead and ship it while I'm there, assuming you are satisfied with the condition. After I get the total I'll send it to you and my paypal if that is good with you. I seriously doubt it will be anywhere near $100 but I will not exceed that without talking to you about it.
