Aqua Interior
Have a 70 GMC w/aqua interior that needs to be replaced. I'm having a little difficulty finding one place that can source all the components; carpet, door panels, seat cover, armrests and estucheons. Hate to get into the mix/match for fear of getting different shades of an already difficult to find color. It's not your standard black, red, saddle, dark olive green. Any recommendations? THX

Re: Aqua Interior
Try Classic industries for the aqua/medium green. Seems i read that at one time, they had that color.

Even if you get all of the pieces from the same vendor they are not going to match, because they get them from different suppliers.... To the best of my knowledge no one company makes all of the interior pieces. LockDoc

Re: Aqua Interior
I don't think any color matches in every piece unless it's black. They never did when new. If you want it all to match you'll have to go custom

X2^^^
They were different shades back in 1970. Usually because of the different materials. (Plastic vinyl or painted steel)

Re: Aqua Interior
I went through the exact same issue on my 65 Chevelle. Car has delux two tone dark blue/light blue interior. Ended up going through 3 package trays, had to paint the black plastic headliner trim myself and used an aqua headliner. PITA! See all you can in person befor buying, ask lots of questions, take your time and good luck!

Re: Aqua Interior
Agree with above post. Can be painted, fair amount of work, but results an be worth it.

Re: Aqua Interior
Have done a boatload of work since these pics were taken; buffed all the interior paint surfaces, seat is currently at upholstery shop being R and R'ed. Installed new aqua carpet, which is a little lighter than I had hoped for, but looks OK. Looking for some aqua door panels and seat belt buckle covers. I have lots of belts that have the same color belt, but the buckle covers are a little darker. Anyway, the hunt is what makes this fun. BTW, put my new white steelies w/white wall tires and the full wheel cover on her yesterday...oh my, I had all I could do to just there and sip my beer and and not fall out of my chair over what an absolutely beuatiful truck she is.
