TCI rear spring kit

anyone running the TCI rear spring kit what hole did you measure off of for the shock bar ? are your shocks straight up and down

Thanks for pic my shocks are mounted on otherside of bar per TCI pic and im still at a pretty good angle im 28" from rear hole on frame think im going to have to move forward 2"

Oh forgot to mention mine is a 3/4 ton chassis as well so it is a little longer than 1/2 ton.

Here is what I did. We boxed the frame so I welded the crossmember in place.

try mounting the shocks to the front side of the bar, maybe they will be more vertical with room to work up and down over bumps without interference?

Do you have any current pics of your project? I am just starting out and curious how the truck sits with the TCI rear leaf package (without additional lower blocks).

The way PFG545 did his looks right on the money. Good angles, decent clearance and a nice clean job.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
