new engine or original engine

ok, thought I had a new engine but it really is the original engine, the seller told me it was a gm Goodwrench engine.

Here is a stupid question I already know the answer to.

Is it better for resale if the original engine is still in the vehicle, like for example an old car with matching vin.

or is it better for a new engine to be in there.

the original engine runs great, but I was taken for a trip..

I need some love

Well here's the deal your truck ain't nutin' special so it don't matter.

Now if it were a low production #'s special truck like a. Sport, or Gentleman Jim, or a Indy Hauler or 454SS or one of the many other special trucks Chevy & GMC have offered over the years then it would matter.

Or if it just mattered to you, Knowing that you have a truck that still has it's original engine it did when it left the asembly plant.

But you won't lose or make any more money than if it had some other engine in there unless that engine is a 4 or 6 banger.

Sorry..........but i don't love men.
