Ad s10 conversion motor mount

Has anyone used trans-dapt 9906 adjustable s10 sbc v8 motor mount conversion kit. How close to the firewall does the mount kit put the motor. Pics would be helpful. I am also putting a 700 r4 behind it . Is there an adapter for 700r4 v8 conversion.

Re: Ad s10 conversion motor mount

Yes. I used the same mounts. I installed the rubber mounts on the motor and the adapter plates on the chassis. The passengers side mount bolts right in. The drivers side will need the lower two holes of the chassis elongate, similar to how they are on the rubber mounts.

I have mine adjusted in the middle of the slot holes and the distance between the passengers side valve cover and firewall is about two finger, that a unit of measure right?

For pics see post 24 of my build thread (link in signature below).
