My 1987 Project "Chili Pepper" Finished
Here is a super nice 87 I found three weeks ago. 1 owner truck restored completely in late 2013 and driven very little after that. I added the 4.5/5 drop kit, 20" American Racing wheels, Blazer bumper, and few custom touches to really make it a killer custom truck. The truck is absolutely mint and runs and drives great.

Re: My 1987 Project "Chili Pepper" Finished
Nothing special under the hood, just really clean and everything is painted in the correct finishes except the firewall. The AC, brake, and cooling systems were replaced when the truck was restored. The inside of the bed is as nice as the outside and just a bed mat to help keep it that way.

Re: My 1987 Project "Chili Pepper" Finished
thanks, I mean what's not to like, a bit of a warning on the bed mat you may want to only put it in when hauling something, otherwise its a great place for moisture to collect underneath and start the rusting process, not trying to scare you, its just a matter of fact especially if you live where it snows

Thanks for the advice. My trucks are garage kept and sold once completed, but I'm really enjoying driving this one.

Re: My 1987 Project "Chili Pepper" Finished
I can't find any part # or manufacture name either. I even removed it and flipped it over and looked. It is stamped made is the us and that's it. Can a longbed one be trimmed down?

Re: My 1987 Project "Chili Pepper" Finished
Ya I looked for a short bed mat for awhile, ended up settling with a long bed version and trimmed it down.
