WTB: Upper molding for '70 stepside

Looking for a decent upper molding set for my '70 stepside. Want fender, door, and cab molding.

Does not have to be perfect as the outside of the truck is not being restored so I'd like it to match.

Thanks

Re: WTB: Upper molding for '70 stepside

I have two sets of the upper door molding, both driver and passenger side and one upper fender piece or spear as some call it. Driver quality, black paint has some issues but metal is straight and decent. Not show but very useable as is. Clips on the spear but none on the door moldings. $10 each plus shipping, don't have Paypal, money order or $$. Let me know if interested I can do pics.

Ironhorse, let me see what else I can find. Maybe I can pull a set together where I can use the pieces you have. I'll be in touch. Thanks.

69Tom, let me know, as mentioned have 2 sets of the upper driver and passenger trim, both very useable, black paint has some flaking but the metal is straight, no bends and no added screw holes. The fender spear has the clips still, none on the upper molding. No problem if you want pics, they are in the parts shed, just in there digging yesterday for a part.

Sure, if no trouble shoot me some pics. I obviously was hoping to get a complete set, but as I said, I might be able to piece this together.

Pics of the trim I have. Two sets of the upper D&P and one fender spear. Hard to take pics of chrome & aluminum trim. As mentioned not show but nice driver quality. A little black paint and polish will work some magic. No added screw holes or nasty gouges. $10 each piece plus shipping, money order or $$, don't have Paypal. Will ship in heavy cardboard tube or PVC pipe, which every you would prefer, LMK, thanks.

Thanks Ironhorse. Let me see what cst204x4 comes up with. Those pretty much look like what I want, however. Any nicer would probably look ridiculous on my truck, which is original warn out paint.

Ironhorse, still waiting. I'll hopefully be in touch soon. You'll be shipping to Phoenix, AZ 85042 if you want to get me a quote for 2 of the door moldings and then the fender spear. Thanks.

Re: WTB: Upper molding for '70 stepside

Put together a sturdy cardboard tube and cover for a 3 lbs. weight and 55'' long, 3 dia. Took a stab at it and got an on line quote in the $10-$12 range to Phoenix, Az. One fender spear and two upper door moldings for driver and passenger side. If any more than the $10 I will take it from my end off the $30 for the three pieces. Total shipped to your door call it an even $40.

Leaving mid morning Friday for a 2 day swap meet so comm. might be a bit slow but will be able to stay in touch. Had planned on taking these items with me but can leave them out of the swap meet items for another time if you decide not to purchase. Not "pushing'' the sale, just a bit of info.

Re: WTB: Upper molding for '70 stepside

OK, so I still need the following upper trim for my '70:

1 upper fender "spear" molding
2 cab corners moldings (or at least that's what I think they're called. The small pieces that go after the door molding.)

Thanks
