Question Where to buy rear drum brake parts?

Ok the question sounds awfully stupid, but I am just looking for a vendor that can get me all the stiff to rebuild my rear drums? Just looking for suggestions as I am seeing stuff all over but not finding a one stop shop?

69 C10, 6 lug, coil rear with factor limited slip.

Thanks,

Josh

I believe NAPA has everything that is reproduced. Some parts may be OEM only, meaning NOS or good used.

Rockauto has the parts so cheap you will think you stole them. Shipping is a little more than it should be but overall still a bargain. While you are there look at the brake hardware kit for I think way up around $1.71. and name brand wheel cylinders for $4.00 and change. Spend a little more and get known brands.Good luck

Re: Where to buy rear drum brake parts?

I bought mine at my local Car Quest. I suggest you buy local, if something isn't right you have someone to talk to, and don't have to wait for shipping.

Re: Where to buy rear drum brake parts?

I just did mine and although they were the same part numbers, the drums were two different widths. It took me 8 boxes to get two matching 1\4" wider ones. The narrow ones didn't fit.

Re: Where to buy rear drum brake parts?

I buy at NAPA. Since I buy most of my repair parts there I get a decent discount and never pay shipping. If a part is wrong it's so simple to correct. If they don't have it in stock for immediate purchase they'll have it by afternoon from another location. I usually call first thing in the morning and so I'll be sure to have it by mid-day. There are variations on brakes. I usually carry a shoe in the truck when I pick-u to double check. They have books with diagrams that show all the specs to assure a perfect match
