BB Power Steering belt length

Anyone know the length for the BB PS belt?
Just installed a brand new belt (3/8" x 50 7/8").
The pump is maxed out, and the belt is only showing 65# measured with a gauge.
The service manual calls for 125# on a new belt, 75# on a used belt.

V-belts are easy to read, the last 3 or 4 numbers tell the lenth of the belt, such as you belt probably has something like 145875 being the last 4 numbers indicating the belt size although never seen a belt in 1/8s usually 1/4s, the first numbers are the width, series 14 or 16 ect if your belt is maxed out at 50 7/8 get a belt that says 145025 it will be shorter and give more adjustment , remember all V-belts stretch

Don´t know if this helps but this is what I have on my 71 BB.
Power steering: 15500 11AV 1270
AC: 15600 11AV 1525
Generator: 15570 11AV 1450
This is probably metric measurements and if the last 4 digits is the lenght in mm the PS belt would be a 50 inch belt (1270mm), also indicated by 3rd and 4th digits in the first group 15500.
AC 60inch belt (1525mm) 15600
Generator: 57 inch belt (1450mm) 15570

I'm going to measure my belts. Perhaps belts were placed in a wrong sleeve somewhere along the line.
