Distance between front door pillars?
So I'm getting close to finishing up some rusty floor repair. Rehung the door and getting the outer rocker lined up, now the bottom of the door is sticking out past where the new rocker wants to sit. Thinkin I should've also braced across the cab.
Does anyone happen to have the measurement from pillar to pillar? weatherstrip flange to weatherstrip flange around the height of the lower door hinge would be a big help so I can confirm if this pillar pushed out. Thanks! Last edited by dracko; 10-28-2015 at 10:01 AM. |

Re: Distance between front door pillars?
Dracko,
I was pulling my cab off today so I made the measurements you requested. I have had my 66 about 10 years and never had the cab off the frame. It does not look like the previous owner did either. I measured even with the lower door hinge bolt. Driver Door = 35 & 1/8 inches Passenger Door = 35 inches Across the front pillars = 67 3/8 inches Across the rear door frame 67 1/4 inches Hope this helps! Blue666 |

Re: Distance between front door pillars?
Thank you very much sir! This is exactly the info I needed. Now I can determine if my pillar pulled in or if my TB rocker panel is outta whack.
