We're here We dont' get eth recognition as the short beds do for sure but we're trying to get them cleaned up and good looking like the lowered crew. A couple guys I think have lowered LWB but most of us LWB have lifted or stock height.

Just don't go cutting please

I have a 77LWB just needs alot of work. Right now my free time is going into my 87 swb. As soon as im done I would love to put my 77 back on the road it rides a whole lot better than my 87. The rear end dosent jump around so much.

my 2 trucks that actually look like trucks, rather than a pile of parts are longbeds. unfortunately, both are dead stock, so no "inspiration" there. unless you want stock for some god awful reason

'86 lwb Silverado here. Everything pretty much stock except for a swapped rearend and heavy duty leaf springs. Also removed the chrome trim along the body and around the wheel wells. Gives the truck a cleaner look - it's white. Still needs some body work and paint, but overall in pretty good condition.

What more can I say. I like a truck that looks and feels like a truck.

My truck started as a longbed, but I got a deal on the shorty frame. You know how it goes from there.

I was trying to put my truck picture here but I must have forgot how. I have done it before but that is old age and good beer for you. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Riptide your truck seems to be coming along, did i see rust in some of your pics. We don`t get snow in west Australia so no salt on the road but we still get rust.Still no long low ones though.I wish i could get all of the spares as easily as you lot .Just to give you an idea of what it`s like here a good used lt1 350 is about $6ooo. a bonnet is $450 ,20inch wheels would be $500-$600 each ,to bag it would be around $4000 so you have got to plan your projects as well as you can. I can get a short stepside for $1200 and stetch it or cut the frame to suit or find a long style side from who knows where .so i still need to see some cool long beds so i can see where i need to go,so keep them coming

Now we are getting close, pops, kybol and 1faarstc10 i think your trucks are looking good and riptide shortys are not common down here either. You all must be curious about a longbed thats low and has got 20`s on so put out the call we want to see a long and low. A big fat engine would be good too

i have a 1974 C10 Cheyenne Super LWB but i dont have any pics online of it.its kinda ugly anyway so i dont think you want to see a pic of it.i will however give some stats on it
GM Goodwrench 350-came with the truck
1979 TH350-bought that from Tom aka bored&stroked when the original went out
dynomax headers and 2 1/2 inch pipes and mufflers-no tailpipes
soon to have a carter carb and edelbrock intake
31 inch pirelli scorpions on stock steel rims
new brakes as of yesterday
paint is faded red and white-will be primer grey one day then eventually ill paint it a color of my choosing
interior is all intact but im going to make some mods to it that will make it the truck i want
and a few other things i know im forgetting

i too prefer the longbeds and think we need more of them on here.
