Bought this cool seat cover on eBay.
At least I think it's cool. Of course, most normal people probably wouldn't geek out over a musty old seat cover.
Anyway, it's an NOS Chevrolet/GM accessory. It had been stuffed in that box for 53 years (it was delivered to some dealership in 1962, according to the shipping label). I love all the old tags and stuff on it. It's not as nice as nice factory upholstery, but it works for my particular truck, and it has a wonderful old smell that makes it even better. |

Re: Bought this cool seat cover on eBay.
That is EXTREMELY cool!
I'd be tempted to take it to an upholstery shop (a GOOD one) and have them reproduce it. Then use the repro, and keep the original as a template. -Brad

OK.I officially don't like you anymore!
But! I'd be willing to pay for your seat to be recovered with the original reproduction fabric in exchange for the seat cover and box?

Revoh, I don't believe I have seen pics of your truck before. Do you have any exterior pics you could post? That interior pic shows some nice options and accessories.

Here's the outside, for the five people on here that haven't seen this picture. Far from perfect, but good enough for us to have fun with. I appreciate the nice comments. It's nice to hear that kind of stuff--even it if is just because I bought something online! :-p |

Right on. I dig it. That's "thinking out of the box". Kazinga.
Serious though, it's looks great. Hope it was stored someplace cool. Out here in AZ. the heat is murder on soft items.

Re: Bought this cool seat cover on eBay.
Revoh,
I'm just trying to collect all the correct accessories for the 63. That is the theme behind the build. Recovering your seat would be a consequence of working on the construction of my Museum ( New Garage ) instead of looking on Ebay. I have the reproduction fabric already and the vinyl is easily accessible. Just keep it in mind if you'd consider the switch.
