What hubcaps would have been stock on a '68 C20?
Anybody have pics of what caps would have been stock on a '68 C20 Custom Camper? I have a mismatched set on there now and want to put the correct ones on.
Thanks

They look just like the C/10 caps except they mount completely differently. These are the last of the old-style inner clip mounts, so you need the right wheels to mount them as well.

Re: What hubcaps would have been stock on a '68 C20?
Yes they would have been a different type mount, not like the 3 nub caps but a clip style.
They would have been either painted of chromed like those in the photos.

Re: What hubcaps would have been stock on a '68 C20?
Nice to see the appreciation for history growing on this site. Lets face it, later model caps just don't do these trucks justice! The cap you need must have a 8 3/4" back side opening to fit period 8 lug wheels with clips. Here is member Layne's beautiful '68 3/4 ton with the solid one piece 16.5" wheels ( clip type period correct ), previous photos in posts show the 2 piece 16" wheels.
