Steering wheel removal

Trying to remove my original steering wheel to clean it up but ran into some trouble that i can't take it out. Can someone tell me how too..

U can use 2 large hammers ( one a ball peen)to do it. Loosen the nut so it is even with the top of the stud(this will prevent nut and stud damage). Put the ball peen hammer under the steering wheel and put the flat of the hammer on the nut. Pull hard on the end of that hammer, basically the handle of the hammer is under the steering wheel and you are providing force to pull the wheel off the stud. While you provide this pressure strike the ball peen hammer with the other hammer, a few strikes should pop it right off . I have used this method for years, a puller does work best but thus works fine in a pinch.

You really need a puller. Not too hard to DIY if you have the right bolts.

I want to thank all you guys for taking time and advice me to get this done. Did clean the streering wheel but I though this one look nice on it.
