Just a Thankya

Have been picking up some parts for my 68 K10 50th and have had some very tolerant help from some folks here including 68bowtie and Scottsheavyhalf. I travel a lot overseas and my time is limited and often chaotic when home and they've accommodated me a lot. The parts I've received thus far have been great and as described--I'm trying to keep it original and "patina'd" without deviating from things so if I ever decide to sell the person buying is getting original parts only.

Looking forward to getting that seat 68! I'll post updated pics when I get it installed.

Thanks to all who've helped thus far.

Regards, Dave.

Dave, like I've always said this is the best board there is.

A good group on here that doesn't mind answering question for others.

Re: Just a Thankya

Got the sill plates installed and they look perfect.

I also got the seat finally (Fastenal kinda dragged their feet) and though the seat is darn nice for a driver I took it right away to the upholstery shop I use and asked them to clean and patch the questionable areas. They do great work and will nail it. Packing on the item was great--thanks 68! The visors and window cranks will really finish it off. Now the only thing non original is the mech temp gauge, the oil and colorant and the tires and rims!

Surely someone has the correct rims for a 68 K10?!
