60-63 vent window question

I am rebuilding the vent windows on my 62 and took photos to document. My problem is where the spring is bolted on to the bottom pivot rod. Both my widows have different washers in different places. I even have a spare vent window assembly and that is different also. Does anyone have a photo of what parts go in what order on a 60-63. Is it the same as the 64-66?

Re: 60-63 vent window question

You might find what you need in the following thread:

I looked through the 1960 shop manual and didn't find any photos worth sharing.

Re: 60-63 vent window question

Thank but I have already seen that thread. I just wish I new if the 62's had the same order of washers as the 64-66. I guess I can check to see if one of my 3 vent windows has the same line up as the one in the thread. I think only one of them has the washer with the flat end.

Re: 60-63 vent window question

Yes thanks it does. That looks like the same order as the 64-66 has in the other thread.

forestb I'm in North Hollywood and Need that metal pivot for the vent lock. You mentioned you have 3 vent window set ups, would you be willing to sell me that piece if you have it? Thanks
