Cleaning trim
What have you guys found most effective to clean and polish the aluminum trim on the grille, tailgate & body side moldings 67-68 trucks. Also, what is best for stainless to clean & polish and also remove scratches?
Thanks |

Re: Cleaning trim
I'd recommend cleaning first with Simple Green or just soap and water. Then removing any paint, overspray etc. with Acetone. Now here comes the elbow grease, use 0000 steelwool and finally a good polish/sealer. I use Wenol but it's hard to come by. My 2nd choice FLITZ can be found at most home improvement stores. Good luck!

Re: Cleaning trim
Fine copper wool and a quality metal polish.
