Old Air a/c bracket
http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalo...t-p-16327.html
I've searched, anybody have any experience with this bracket? I have a denso/truck bracket that clears now, but I need a new compressor and I'd like to try the 508. |

Re: Old Air a/c bracket
It looks like the Alan Grove bracket:
http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/LS.htm The only negative thing that I've ever heard about it is that rotating the compressor at the angle required to use that bracket sometimes causes oiling problems and premature compressor failure. That's just what I've heard and is not from first hand experience. |

Re: Old Air a/c bracket
I have an ls and old air. I used the stock ls compressor by using Doc's Blocks manifold and adjusted the frame rail to fit the compressor in stock spot.

Re: Old Air a/c bracket
I appreciate the input. I've actually dealt with Alan Grove in the past, I didn't realize it was their bracket. I know the Doc's fitting is unavailable, I'm starting from scratch and honestly I'm completely on the fence.
