Jack warning sticker?

I just got the last sticker I needed for under my hood from LMC. It is the small safety yellow jack warning sticker. I know it goes on the base of the jack, but I am not sure where.

When I got the truck, it didn't have a sticker. I have looked on other trucks, but most of them don't have a jack. Can anyone give me the "correct" location for this sticker?

Ken, on my 77 Blazer the sticker in question goes on the inner fender centered between the jack and the battery...if you are standing in front of the truck it would be facing so you could read it.

Hope this helps, I don't have a digital camera.

Hmmm? So it doesn't go on the jack. Ok, when you say inner fender, do you mean the actual fender like this...

The second pic Ken, not the actual FENDER, but the inner fender.

If that is the sticker you are talking about then, then we are talking about whole different stickers. Mine is 9" x 4.5" and your little sticker there is just on a portion of what mine is. Your piece is in the upper left hand corner piece of my sticker...if you were to cut off the upper left of my sticker then it would look like yours. The rest of mine has step by step instructions along with pictures showing how to jack up the vehicle and change the tire. The jack itself has NO stickers anywhere on it.

Hope this makes sense. If it doesn't just reply and I can try better I guess. I know for a fact my Blazer is un-touched and 99% original.

Mike, YES I want one, but money is tight and I need to finish Yeller and get married...both are expensive!!!

Jeff, you are talking about the "instruction" sticker. I already have that one. It was on the other side of the jack when I bought the truck, I just replaced it, and put it back in the same spot. You can see the corner of it in pic #2.

I thought this sticker mounted on the base of the jack, but it doesn't seem to fit there...

My bad Ken, I guess I assumed you were talking instruction sticker...guess I should read a little slower.

I have no idea where that sticker should go...it isn't on my 77...at least in plain sight.

Kind of odd where your "instruction" sticker is compared to mine...either the PO of your truck stuck it there...or the factory workers slapped them on wherever they felt like. ??

Jeff,
I "think" the sticker that was on there was original, and the PO painted around it. I know they painted around it, I just have to assume it was OEM.

The instruction sticker I got from LMC is a copy of an earlier version, but it's all they had, so I took it.

Since your Blazer doesn't have it, the warning sticker pictured may not be correct for 77. I know I have seen them, but can't remember what year they were on. I guess I will leave it off until I can verify one way or another.

Thanks again for the input...
