Re: Stock wheels and hubcaps for a 72 c20?

1972 C 20's came with 16.5" solid or 16" 2 piece. THese rims have bumps for hubcap rentention, diameter of hubcap is 12" across. Many go to 16" solid wheels that were very common on C 20's built during the early to mid 80's for larger tire selection. Check your SPID ( inner glove box decal) for option PO3, which means truck came with chrome hubcaps, if no PO3 option, your C 20 probably came with painted hubcaps as shown in photo. Remember, all period correct hubcaps have blue bow ties, not gold. Wheels are easy to find at Pick n Pulls for reasonable prices, good straight hubcaps usually pop up on ebay.
